More About the Role:

As a full-time stylist for Capitol, stylists are responsible for servicing all Capitol guests by initiating interaction and greeting each client or potential client with a smile and warmth. You'll be expected to consistently meet sales goal targets. You'll be expected to m maintain knowledge of merchandise and upcoming events. Our team takes ownership of inventory and visuals by maintaining a clean environment. All stylists support the jewelry department by displaying fine jewelry before opening at 10am, checking in the jewelry daily to ensure inventory levels are accurate, and safely put the jewelry into the safe at closing (5pm). You'll schedule alterations appointments for clients as needed, support our seamstresses during the appointment, and ensure clients are charged and receive their garments in a timely manner.

 

General Requirements:

  • Job Location: Charlotte, NC
  • Working hours are from 9:30am-5:30pm. 2-3 Saturdays per month (the weeks you work a Saturday, you receive a weekday off, totaling to 40 hours/week)
  • 1-3 years of previous sales experience required, preferably in luxury retail.
  • Performs other duties as required or requested.
  • Contributes to the positive team efforts of both the store and the company.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive individual, company and customer data without exception.
  • Acts upon critical issues immediately within the position’s authority and/or asks for assistance/decision-making from management.
  • Makes suggestions to improve daily store sales, operations and overall flow.
  • Actively participates and present at store events and trunk shows.
  • Must be able to lift over 35 lbs. and stand on feet throughout the duration of the day.

You will support the Irene Neuwirth jewelry department by displaying fine jewelry and collaborating on cross-selling between the Irene Neuwirth Shop in Shop and Capitol.

 

General Requirements:

  • Job Location: Brentwood/Santa Monica, CA
  • Available during working hours – specific schedule to be determined: Monday-Saturday: 9:45am-6:15pm, Sundays: 10:45am-5:15pm
  • 3-5 years of previous sales experience required, preferably in luxury retail.
  • Performs other duties as required or requested.
  • Contributes to the positive team efforts of both the store and the company.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive individual, company and customer data without exception.
  • Acts upon critical issues immediately within the position’s authority and/or asks for assistance/decision-making from management.
  • Makes suggestions to improve daily store sales, operations and overall flow.
  • Actively participates and present at store events and trunk shows.
  • Communicates thoroughly and actively via Slack when in the store or out of the store to
    create a seamless sales process and cohesive team.
  • Attends monthly team meetings.
